There is a beautiful new Granddaughter in the Crist/Stringham families. Her name Elise Nicole, she was born April 28th at 2:50PM. She weighed 6lb 10 oz and was 19 and a half inches long. Mom, Elise and the family are all doing well.

Here we are all bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7:45 in the morning. Little did we know what lies ahead of us.

After a mere 4.6 miles, 6 hours and 1200 ft elevation later, here was the result. Not even enough energy to unpack a tarp to lay on.

After a good nights rest we were ready to conquer again. Here we are near the middle lake overlooking the valley with Stanley Lake in the background.

Later that day we are above the middle lake with McGowan Peak in the background.

Same place here is Mr Photographer. Notice the beautiful blue of the lake below.

Next day here we are on our trip to the southern lakes. The peak behind doesn't have a name but the elevation is 9085.

Time to check in at home. Amazing how much electronics we had to drag along to have what we needed for the trip. Camera, GPS, Battery Charger, Sat Phone, etc.

Here is the standard outfit for the day hikes. Hiking poles are a MUST!

We even had visitors in our camp one night. Didn't seem to have any problem with us being around.

And here is our camp fire on our last night. We had a few aches and pains, but had a wonderful time.

2010 Cabin Weekend

Here was one of the highlights of the weekend. The grandkids getting rides on the 4 wheeler. A couple of them were a little timid for the first ride, but all seemed to have a great time. Some like Ben and Bella wanted to go VERY fast.

Wow what a Biker dudette.

I don't think Bergann could come up with a tough look if she tried. What a sweetie.

We had 27 in all for the evening. There were only two missing, it was past Isaac's bed time and his dad Adam had to go back and protect the streets of Boise while we played. Thanks for all his great work!

And Lauren loved the pretty flowers she found near the fire pit.

We have a new member of our famlily now. Isaac Adam Crist, Sunday October 4th, 3:40 PM. He is 20 inches long and 7.5 pounds. He is a very beautiful baby. And for just today he can be pretty as well. Mom and Dad doing well also.

Greg and Patti had a great adventure on Labor Day weekend. We drove to Stanley Friday night and stayed in a motel. First thing Saturday we went to Redfish lake and rode the boat to the other end of the lake. From there we hiked 4.5 miles to the Bench Lakes above Redfish lakes. We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights there. We also went on several short hikes from our base camp. One was for 5 hours going to 4 of the six Bench Lakes. We returned Monday AM back to the Lodge end of Redfish lake. It was 30 degrees when we got up that morning.
